In collaboration with Harvard Undergraduate Economics Association (HUEA), CYBL will host the 5th annual CYBL Summer Camp - a pre-college summer business program for high school students. The weeklong summer program include over 28 hours of intensive business lectures, 12 hours of project based learning, guest lectures from industry professionals, and panel discussions with students from Harvard University.
Students that attend the CYBL 2020 Summer Camp receive a week of rigorous exposure to a variety of topics in finance, accounting, economics, and marketing. Students will also engage in daily business case analysis to hone their business knowledge, teamwork, and public speaking skills. CYBL Summer Camp goes a step ahead of the rest by covering topics like professional image, personal branding, business etiquette, and cross cultural communication. Summer Camp precedes CYBL National Championships, also held in Shanghai.
Time: August 12th -17th, 2020
Location: Shanghai
Summer Camp Highlights
1. University Level Instruction
Students will receive undergraduate level instruction in multiple areas of business such management, leadership, finance, accounting, strategy, and marketing. Our students develop independent thinking, problem solving skills, effective public speaking, and teamwork skills over the course of the camp. Students who attend camp see a dramatic improvement in their performance at CYBL regional tournaments as well as other high-school business and investment competitions in China.
2. Polish Your College Applications
CYBL exemplifies all of the traits - a grounding in business fundamentals, ability to think critically on your feet, and public speaking experience - that colleges want to see in their applicants. Include CYBL on your resume to demonstrate your love for learning business in college applications and improve your preparedness to study business in college. CYBL students have gone on to study business at prestigious universities like the University of Toronto and University of Melbourne to name a few.
3. 1:10 Teacher Student Ratio
The CYBL 2019 Summer Camp maintains a teacher-student ratio of less than 1:10 by placing strict restrictions on the number of students that are accepted. Participants will enjoy a challenging yet supportive environment as they work closely with CYBL instructors and current undergraduate students from Harvard and Wharton.
4. An Excellent Academic Team
Instructors at camp are a combination of full-time members of CYBL academic team, top performing students from the Harvard Undergraduate Economics Association and or accomplished members of student organizations at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
5. Authoritative Certification
All participation certificates are jointly issued by the CYBL and Harvard Undergraduate Economics Association (HUEA).
